First Soccer Practice

This is a short video of Lily's first soccer practice with her new team 'The Monkeys'. They started off the practice by pairing up and kicking to each other. They then did a dribbling exercise that ended with a shot on the 'goal'. For the final 10-15 minutes they had a match, and Lily asked could she be goalie for today. She did a great job!

The best part was that at one point everyone (coach and spectators), realized that all of the players from both sides thought they were playing the same direction!!

Movie morning

Yes it's August and warm out. But it's still a good time to snuggle up and intently watch a movie.

A Little Bird Told Me

Ah Lily, this is one to blackmail you with when you are older. The Sanford's lovely neighbour Nicky brought Lily a little porcelain bird, that when filled with water makes lovely bird noises. Or when played like some kind of piccolo is pretty annoying.

However Lily thought it was the best idea to march around the garden in her 4th July bathing suit whistling up a storm hoping to attract some birds to fly over to her. Or was it scare them away?

As soon as she realized I was taping the whole deal she thought adding a few dance moves would liven things up.

The Face

We say 'make a face Annabelle' and this is what she does. We think it's hilarious. It wouldn't be possible to video Annabelle without Lily getting in on the action too.

Later it ends it tears, but I edited out that part.

Baby Emma Rose was actually born August 3rd (didn't take time difference into account!). 8lbs 14oz. 

Mummy and baby doing well! 

Congratulations!

Congratulations to my lovely sister Sarah, her husband Ian, and new big brother James who had their new baby girl today in Dublin. I will post some photos when I can get my hands on them!

All are doing well, and that's all the news I have.

Name to follow- she may have to call her Maggie May since they now share a birthday!
