Hungry?

Annabelle isn't too well today so I'm home trying to work while she plays. She was very quiet for a bit so naturally I was concerned / curious. She had pulled everything out of the diaper bag and thrown it all down except a tub of apple sauce and a spoon! So I gave her A for effort and fed her the apple sauce. After that, put her on the floor with some toys, and she was straight back over to the bag, this time for some graham crackers in a bag. She was trying to eat them through the plastic! So back up in the high hair for more.

I told Lily she could have some of her giant lollipop after dinner tonight, so she has been talking about it all day.

I asked her to finish the apple she is having for snack time and she said that the writing on the wrapper of her lollipop says that she doesn't have to eat the apple.

It's finally time I let go of those baby curls and took lily for a big girl haircut. So here we are...

Clean Plater

Mummy can I have a treat after dinner? Lily, clean platers can have more food, or a treat or whatever. Do you know what a clean plater is? A clean plater is when you eat all of your food, and there is nothing left, like this (holding up Annabelle's empty dish). Well mummy that's a bowl. Hmm good point.
