Lunch today

I asked Lily what she had for lunch at school. She said tacos, I thought, so I said, oh tacos? She sighed and said, no Mummy, TACKLES. Oh, I said, Tackles? Yes Mummy. I asked her if tackles were food that you fold up and eat with fillings inside, she said yes, so I figure they are tacos. So now I want to find out what was inside the tacos, so asked her that. She said they were filled with cheese and ravioli. Hmm. Ok. So I asked her what she had alongside them, and she said mixed vegetables. Then followed by a pear. Ok so I'm guessing she had tacos filled with meat, cheese, and sauce, with some vegetables on the plate too. Otherwise she had a very strange lunch today!

Ready for swimming?

Lily is taking swimming lessons at the YMCA on Mondays and Wednesdays. She is in the Pike class, which is beginner,followed by Eel, Ray and then Starfish. Her teacher's name is Sam.

This is how I found Lily when I went to check on the girls at my bedtime. Not only has she stolen the pacifier out of Annabelle's mouth, she has decided to put on her sunglasses to sleep in. Amazing.

Pacifier Smuggling

Lily had to give up her pacifiers to the pacifier fairy in exchange for a Barbie before Annabelle was born. Since Annabelle now likes pacifiers from time to time they are around the house again and Lily has bloodhound like skils in sniffing them out. Her latest thing is to find one, stuff it under her pajama top, and then hold on to it from outside looking ever so guilty, and thinking that I have no idea what is going on. She tries to get it into her room and hide it in her bed so she can bring it out when she goes to bed!

Raspberries

Lily: remember mummy i dont like raspberries.
Me: ok Lily
Lily: so dont buy raspberries at the supermarket.
Me: ok Lily
Lily: but when i'm 10, if i like raspberries then you can buy them, but only if i like them when I'm 10, ok?
Me: got it.
